DR. NING LI
I am a geneticist working on shellfish and teleost fish species. One of my major work species is walking catfish (Clarias batrachus), and it is appealing to me due to its special "walking" ability and its corresponding mechanisms of terrestrial adaptation. I am interested to keep working on this in the future. Now I am a kind of evolutionary biologist working on the effects of mito-nuclear interactions on sex-specific aging by developing an invertebrate copepod (Tigriopus californicus) as a new model species. Hope I can contribute a little bit to people's understanding of sex-specific aging and mitochondrial replacement therapy (MRT).
What I like and what am good at:

5. Hiking and beach relaxing.

The drunk girl on the beach and the two cuties (Heihei and Tiger) bring me happiness and troubles as well (usually the latter is much more than the former). I thank all of you for staying with me all the time and probably loving me sometime. I love you all!
